Tuition, loaders & instructors

An association of skilled shooting instructors offering tuition or advice in all matters for shotgun shooting or tuition. The availability of top quality, consistent, professional instruction is an essential requirement for those learning to shoot or wishing to improve upon their existing skills . The question is where is it possible to find just such expertise, and in doing so ensure that the attentions of the unqualified tutor are avoided? The Guild of Shooting Instructors is an association of instructors dedicated to providing the highest possible standards of instruction, professionalism and service. Every Guild member regardless of their background and previous experience, has to pass a rigorous training and selection procedure before being invited to join the organisation, thereby not only establishing a group of highly skilled and motivated individuals, but also ensuring a uniformity and consistency of instructional methods and advice within that group. Great emphasis is placed on the teaching and understanding of gun safety, etiquette and good behaviour. Each Guild member is among some of Britain's elite Shooting Instructors. They provide the answer to where you can get the very best in shooting tuition Get in touch to find out more & discuss details for your day

Game Shooting Instruction & Day Support APSI-qualified instructor | 40 years’ game-shooting experience | Hampshire & surrounding counties I offer discreet, individual support to guns on game-shooting days, combining professional APSI instruction with over 40 years’ personal experience of game shooting. My aim is simple: to help each gun get more enjoyment from their day and shoot more confidently and consistently, without making the coaching intrusive. What I offer * One-to-one coaching and guidance throughout a game day * Discreet advice between and during drives * Help with gun mount, stance, balance, movement and shot selection * Loading and practical support where required * Guidance for less experienced or returning game shots * Support for visiting guns who would benefit from having an experienced instructor alongside them * A calm and unobtrusive approach appropriate to the atmosphere of a traditional game shoot I can work alongside the shoot’s existing team and adapt my involvement to suit the individual gun and the requirements of the day. Who the service is suited to This can be particularly useful for: * A gun who is relatively new to game shooting * Someone returning to shooting after a period away * A visiting gun who would appreciate individual support * A regular shot looking to improve their consistency * A host wanting to ensure that a guest has an enjoyable and successful day Area & rates I am available throughout Hampshire and surrounding counties. Full game day: £300 Half day: £175 Travel within 30 miles is included, with longer-distance travel by agreement. I am happy to discuss arrangements directly with shoot owners, keepers or shooting agents and can tailor the service to the requirements of individual shoots. APSI Qualified Instructor 40 years’ game-shooting experience Professional instruction, practical support and an experienced eye — helping guns get the most from their day.
